City Council in Your Neighborhood - Transportation


The Glendale City Council will be coming to your neighborhood on January 17th to discuss topics that are important to you. This special meeting of the City Council will focus on issues relating to transportation and mobility within the City of Glendale. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 at Dignity Health – Glendale Memorial Hospital & Health Center (John Stauffer Auditorium) located at 1420 S. Central Avenue, Glendale, CA 91204.

The meeting will feature a presentation by Glendale’s Urban Design & Mobility Team, and panel discussion with transportation professionals. It will culminate with a City Council and community comment period. The panel discussion will feature transportation officials representing organizations such as Metro, Metrolink, Eco-Rapid, and the California High Speed Rail Authority. The goal is to show residents where the City has been in terms of transportation, where it is now, and where the future will take us in partnership with the regional organizations listed above. Residents are encouraged to attend to find out more about transportation in Glendale and plans going forward.

“City Council in Your Neighborhood” is a series of meetings that brings the Glendale City Council to individual neighborhoods to hear from local residents. These meetings also give residents the chance to discuss topics important to their neighborhood in their neighborhood. No one understands a neighborhood better than those who live, work, and play there. Although the meeting will be discussing the particular topic of transportation, all Glendale residents are encouraged to attend and participate.
