Throughout their individual operating histories, Disney Interactive and Disney Consumer Products have functioned as seperate entities. Now Disney is formally merging the two divisions into Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, a move that'll allow them to collectively leverage their existing resources and capabilities in the name of continuing to develop compelling products.
