The Glendale Housing Authority is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a new residential affordable housing development. The Site, commonly known as 5th & Sonora, is comprised of property owned and controlled by the Glendale Housing Authority. The Site measures approximately 1.56 acres. The housing being sought is an affordable rental housing development for lower income seniors.
The Housing Authority wishes to ensure that development of the Site will produce a well-designed and managed, high-quality housing project in the Grandview neighborhood of Glendale. This is an opportunity for development of senior, affordable housing in a safe neighborhood with access to shopping, dining, entertainment, employment centers, and community services.
Proposers are encouraged to be creative in providing a development plan that meets the Housing Authority’s vision and objectives identified in this RFP.
Proposals are due by Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.
