The City of Glendale’s Graphic Design team was recently recognized as an American Graphic Design Award winner for its Mission Statement “Excellence in Service” by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA). This designation is in line with the City Council’s strategic goals to foster an informed and engaged community, one of ten goals seen in the Mission Statement infographic. The Mission Statement was written to reinforce the City of Glendale’s delivery of exceptional customer service through precision execution and innovative leadership. The City accomplishes its mission and realizes its vision by providing emphasis on fiscal Responsibility, exceptional customer service, economic vibrancy, informed & engaged Community, safe & healthy community, balanced, quality housing, community services & facilities, infrastructure & mobility, arts & culture, and sustainability.
For over five decades, Graphic Design USA has been an information source for graphic design professionals. GDUSA is one of the nation’s most prominent and recognized magazines for graphic designers and other creative professionals. Every year, GDUSA provides a unique opportunity for graphic designers to be recognized for their talent and contributions to their organizations.
The winning Mission Statement Infographic will be published in print and online in GDUSA's American Awards Design Annual Magazine, with creative credits on www.gdusa.com.
