San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity and the City of Glendale invite community members to the Chestnut Homes Dedication Ceremony. Supporters and all area citizens are welcome to attend the ceremony on Saturday, March 12th at 11 a.m. at 806 E. Chestnut Street 91205. Homebuyer families will receive the keys to their new homes, the Glendale Housing Authority will be recognized, and donors and volunteers will be honored.
Habitat for Humanity helps eligible families achieve strength, stability and independence through hard work and collaboration with community volunteers.
The Chestnut Dedication is a great opportunity for the community to show support for affordable housing. Habitat for Humanity’s carefully selected families purchase their homes through a no-profit, no-interest loan and invest at least 500 hours of Sweat Equity to reach their goal of ownership. San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity’s programs are a hand up, not a handout.
To request an invitation with a parking pass contact San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity at info@sgvhabitat.org or call (626) 387-6899 (x18).
