Free Housing Rights Workshop to Educate Residents on Legal Rights and Responsibilities


Discrimination, rent increases, evictions, security deposits - dealing with housings rights can seem like wading into treacherous waters for many people. Yet proper education and information can help residents navigate those turbulent seas with greater clarity and efficiency. The City of Glendale and Housing Rights Center recently announced they’ll be hosting a Housing Rights Workshop, a 100% free event dedicated to providing residents comprehensive education on their legal rights and responsibilities.

The Housing Rights Workshop will be held on April 14th, 2016 from 5-7 p.m at the Pacific Community Center’s Sycamore Room.

Topics will include:

• Discrimination

• Security Deposits

• Rent Increases

• Evictions

• Repairs

Armenian Translation will be provided.

The Pacific Community Center is located at 501 S. Pacific Avenue, Glendale, CA, 91204 and is handicap accessible.
