The City of Glendale recently launched a Speakers’ Bureau page containing departmental topics and a submission form for community members to communicate with the Public Information Office in regards to securing city speakers for events.

The purpose of the Speakers’ Bureau is to increase public understanding of city operations while reinforcing Glendale’s emphasis on transparency and open communication. We also want to make experienced city officials available to the community and enable them the opportunity to convey their expertise on a variety of topics. Additionally, it’s our hope these public speaking events not only edify residents but also spur volunteer interest and increase community participation in city programs/ initiatives.
Potential speaking topics include Code Compliance, Senior Services, Emergency Medical Services, Tech Cluster, Crime Prevention Measures, and Traffic & Pedestrian Safety.
