Affordable Housing Opportunity Coming to Downtown Glendale

A new affordable apartment building called “Ace/121” with 69 units is under construction in Glendale and will be available for rental in the Fall of 2016! The project is a joint project between Meta Housing Corporation, the Glendale Housing Authority, and the YMCA of Glendale and is located in the heart of Glendale’s Arts and Entertainment District.

Applications are now available for Low and Very Low Income households.

Income qualified applicants that meet certain preferences will be awarded points based on those preferences. The applicants with the most points will be considered first for residency at the building. The preferences are for Artists (2 points), those who live in Glendale (1 point) and those who work in Glendale (or Senior 62+ or disabled) (1 point). The building has 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units and will serve those income qualified families whose income is less than 60% of the area median income.

Applications and more information are immediately available online at www.ace121glendale.com. Starting June 6, applications will also be available to pick-up at the YMCA of Glendale (140 N. Louise Street) during regular business hours or by calling (818) 827-4099.

All applications must be returned by mail and must be postmarked on or before July 5, 2016.
