Glendale’s Pacific Park Pool Named One of LA’s Best Public Pools

June 10, 2016

Summer is here, and what better place to seek solace than a pool? Whether you’re looking to grab some well-deserved relaxation, channel your inner Michael Phelps in lap swim, or give your little ones some recreational fun, pools offer an abundance of activities for residents of all ages. Glendale’s Pacific Community Pool has always made a splash with residents, and was recently named one of LAist’s Six Best Public Pools in Los Angeles.

The excerpt reads:

“This park and library-adjacent Glendale pool is pretty awesome. There's a nice view of palm trees and the mountains from the water, and it has a giant shallow area for younger swimmers. They also allow pool toys and even have some noodles on hand. And there's also a diving board. Day passes are $3 for adults, and range from free to a dollar for kids, depending on age.”

Santa Monica’s Annenberg Community Beach House, Culver City’s Municipal Plunge, and the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center were also highlighted.

Our Pacific Park Pool is 4,900 square feet and sports six total lanes. It’s accompanied by a 3,100 square foot pool house containing public restrooms/ showers, staff work areas, pool equipment, and storage. It’s slated to become a LEED Certified Building with a Platinum Rating.
