The Glendale Tech Week festivities are only three weeks away and new details have emerged about the exciting musical lineup gracing the Alex’s stage. The City of Glendale’s Economic Development Corporation announced that Robby Krieger, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and guitarist of The Doors, is headlining a special performance with friends at the Alex Theatre on Friday, September 16. Also performing that same Friday is The Bots, a Glendale-based band which was voted most likely to succeed by Rolling Stone Magazine in 2014.
A wide range of musical acts will be delighting Glendale Tech Week attendees leading up to Robby Krieger’s big concert at the Alex Theatre. Acts like the genre-breaking JK SMILE, The Petrojvic Blasting Company, which celebrates a rich Eastern European tradition, and The Robbie Davis Band and their real country sound. These and other acts will all take place during Glendale Tech Week, a weeklong event celebrating tech and inspiring innovation in Glendale.
Starting September 14th, Glendale Tech Week will be buzzing with over 50 events and 30 speakers from companies and organizations like Disney, LegalZoom, YP, and CBRE. Whether you are a student, a recent graduate looking for that chance to break into the industry, an innovative thinker with a world changing idea, or are already in the industry, there is an event for you. Students with a valid student email can purchase General Admission tickets for $25 each or an All-Access pass with a concert ticket to see Robby Krieger for $75. Regular price for General Admission is $50, while an All-Access pass with the concert ticket is $100.
