Glendale Ranked 9th Least Sinful City in America

The City of Glendale seems poised to be included on Santa’s “Nice List” this holiday season. WalletHub, the personal finance and free credit score company, has released their list of “2016’s 150 Most Sinful Cities in America”. Using 27 key indicators, WalletHub collected data ranging from “violent crimes per capita” to “excessive drinking” to “volunteer rate” in order to determine which cities were the most and least sinful. Glendale residents and Saint Nick will be happy to learn that Glendale ranked as the 9th least sinful city in America for 2016.

Of course, no city is perfect, even Glendale. Taking some key indicators of each of the seven deadly sins, which included anger, hatred, jealousy, lust, and excesses and vices, WalletHub compiled data from a range of sources including the U.S. Census Bureau and Federal Bureau of Investigations Database. On top of scoring low in indicators such as “Anger & Hatred,” “Avarice,” and “Excesses & Vices,” Glendale had the 3rd lowest rate of violent crimes per capita.

Glendale may rank low on sinfulness, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of fun things to do here in Glendale. In an earlier WalletHub ranking, Glendale was ranked as the fifth most fun city in the state of California. With countless bars, coffee shops, restaurants, and stores, there is always something to see or do in Glendale.
