On December 28, 2018, Glendale Police Department Investigators arrested a suspect in the fatal hit-and-run collision that took place on December 21, 2018, at approximately 7:20 p.m., at the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard and Linden Avenue.
Glendale traffic investigators arrested 61-year old, Mira Gjura, a Glendale resident, on vehicular manslaughter and felony hit-and-run charges. Gjura was booked into the Glendale city jail and has since posted bail.
The suspect vehicle was recovered and is currently being processed by Forensic Specialists at Glendale’s Verdugo Regional Crime Lab. As this investigation continues, anyone with information concerning this case is encouraged to call the Glendale Police Department at 818-548-4911.
Gjura’s arraignment date has been set for May 19, 2019, in the Glendale Superior Court.
