The City will unveil a drought tolerant garden and public art at an event on August 27 at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Central Library, 222 E. Harvard St. Glendale Water & Power constructed a water-saving garden near the entrance to the Downtown Central Library to demonstrate the potential for water-saving landscaping, including water-wise plants and low water-using irrigation. Visitors to the Garden can also enjoy Scott Froschauer’s whimsical sign, GROW, part of a public art project supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts and Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program.
