“Work Boot Tuesday" Returns


Mark your calendars, the City of Glendale’s award-winning “Work Boot Tuesday” meeting will be returns with another fascinating look into what makes the City tick. Keeping with the theme of the last Work Boot, this meeting will continue to focus on public safety in the Jewel City.

Participants will get a unique opportunity to learn about the inner workings of the Fire Department's Training Center.

The meeting will commence on September 24th at 3:00 pm at the Training Center located in the Public Works Yard (541 W. Chevy Chase Drive).

City of Glendale’s “Work Boot Tuesday” is an award-winning program enabling City Council members and residents the opportunity to experience critical city systems and programs firsthand. In 2016, the program won the Winston Crouch Award for Innovation in Government from the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) Southern California Chapter, a premier professional association for the public sector.
