California Neighborhoods Count

The California Neighborhoods Count is a survey sponsored by the State of California. Starting in the spring of 2020, the survey will reach 20,000 households in 174 neighborhoods across the state, including Glendale, and will measure the success of California’s unprecedented efforts to encourage participation in the 2020 U.S. Census. The survey will be undertaken by the RAND Corporation with support from UCLA’s California Center for Population Research.

The RAND Corporation is the non-profit, non-partisan research organization heading this operation. The RAND team of data collectors will be walking around neighborhoods and asking participants to take surveys beginning in mid-May and going through October 2020.
