Are you an artist? Would you like your work seen throughout Glendale? Then boy do we have a beautifying project for you! The Glendale Arts and Culture Commission has issued a call for all artists to apply to paint murals on Glendale utility boxes. Thirteen utility box murals will be painted in various locations, and artists selected will receive a $750.00 stipend! This mural project enhances the city’s streetscape with colorful and interesting murals which reflect Glendale’s identity and civic pride.
Applications must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Artists chosen for this project will begin working on selected utility boxes on March 16-18, 2018.
