California's Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is making improvements to the Northbound I-5, parts of which run through Glendale. According to My5LA.com – a Caltrans partner – these long-term improvements will improve traffic circulation, reduce noise, and enhance safety and air quality in the surrounding neighborhoods. Residents may, however, see a temporary increase in traffic congestion while these improvements are being installed.
