City Council in Your Neighborhood

The Glendale City Council is committed to local engagement and recognizes that no one understands a neighborhood better than those who live, work, and play there. On Tuesday, August 21st, the City Council will hold an off-site “City Council in Your Neighborhood” meeting at the Chevy Chase Country Club at 6:00 pm. These neighborhood meetings facilitate an opportunity for the City Council to further engage with stakeholders that have a vested interest in their neighborhoods, both now and in the future.

The first of this year’s open discussions with the Glendale City Council will include the following topics:

  • Safely living in areas with wildlife;

  • The importance of brush clearance;

  • Fire hazard mitigation and;

  • Traffic safety and crime prevention.

The meeting agenda will feature presentations from the City of Glendale’s Fire and Police personnel, along with staff from the Pasadena Humane Society.
