The Friends of the Glendale Public Library are facing a problem. But unlike most, this type of problem is a good one to have. Thanks to the help of our community, the Friends have too many donations! As a result, they have stopped accepting donations until they can share their love of music, art, and books with the rest of the community.
Help the Friends eliminate their backlog by buying a $10 tote bag and filling it up to the top with all the DVDs and books your heart desires… or as many you can fit into the bag. The faster the Friends sell their collection, the quicker they can start accepting donations!
Buy used books and DVDs at the Friends loading dock sale on Saturday, September 8 from 9am-3pm at the Downtown Central Library Loading Dock (222 E. Harvard St.) and outside at Central Park Paseo next door to the Museum of Neon Art.
Music and art lovers can attend the Associates of Brand Library Art & Music Sale on Saturday, September 29 at the Brand Library and Art Center (1601 W. Mountain St.).
