Glendale Arts Job Fair Draws out Local Leaders

Glendale’s Arts and Entertainment district wouldn’t be the same without the prestige of Alex Theatre. And the Alex, of course, would be nothing without the men and women who transformed the humble movie palace into the world-class entertainment venue it is today. But the Theatre’s golden days are far from over. In fact, on August 17th, from 2pm-8pm, Glendale Arts is hosting a job fair in search of the next generation of local leaders.

Glendale Arts is the non-profit operator of the City-owned Theatre, and was the driving force behind the Alex’s transformation. According to their website, the Theatre’s diverse schedule boasts about 250 events and attracts more than 130,000 patrons per year. Program offerings range from classical, contemporary and world music concerts, to film screenings, live theatre and stand-up comedy. In addition, the Alex Theatre also hosts award shows, fundraisers and a variety of other special events and frequently serves as a location for television, commercial and film productions.

So if you’re a local leader looking to enhance your community, search no further than the Glendale Arts Job Fair. They’ve got culture; they’ve got community; and they’ve got the job for you. You'll find the job postings below, but for more detailed information, visit their employment page at bit.ly/alextheatrejobs, or email them at employment@glendalearts.org.
