Highland Ave. Rehabilitation Project Community Meeting January 31


The City of Glendale invites members of the public to attend a community informational meeting about the Highland Avenue Rehabilitation Project, which is tentatively scheduled to start in August 2019 and last until November 2019 barring unforeseen circumstances.

The community informational meeting about this infrastructure improvement project is scheduled for Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m. at 633 E. Broadway, Room 105.

The project involves surface grinding and replacement of asphalt concrete pavement; selective construction/reconstruction of concrete curb and gutters, driveway and alley aprons, and sidewalks; construction of new curb ramps meeting ADA requirements; relocation of decorative street lights, water meters, and fire hydrants; construction of a dry well system and catch basin on San Fernando Road; installation of new striping and other pavement markings; and planting of new trees.
