How to Have a Safe 4th of July

If you’re reading this, you’re already on the right track to having a safe Fourth of July. Good job!

Fireworks displays will once again light up the night sky over the Crescenta Highlands on July 4, 2019 at Crescenta Valley High School located at 2900 Community Ave., La Crescenta, CA 91214.

This permitted fireworks show, and red, white, and blue celebration of America’s Independence Day is thanks to a partnership with the Crescenta Valley Fireworks Association.

Your attendance at this celebration not only supports a cherished local tradition, it also says that you understand the importance of leaving fireworks to the professionals.

The City of Glendale has a zero tolerance policy for all fireworks. All personal fireworks, including the ‘safe and sane’ varieties, are illegal in the City of Glendale. One spark can set the hillside on fire, which would have a devastating outcome for first responders, area residents, and wildlife.

Help keep all of us, our children, our homes, and our property safe from illegal fireworks. Call Glendale Police at (818) 548-4911 to report illegal fireworks and other suspicious activities.
