State to Host Sales Tax Class and Online Business Filing Clinics in Glendale

The California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) will host four workshops in Glendale in January to educate taxpayers, small businesses and nonprofits about the sales and use tax and online tax filing.

The CDTFA administers California's sales and use, fuel and tobacco taxes, as well as a variety of other taxes and fees that fund specific state programs.

A basic sales and use tax class is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, 2019 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the CDTFA Glendale Office at 505 N. Brand Blvd., 7th floor, Glendale, CA 91203. Registration is required for the class, which is provided in English only.

At the end of the month, CDTFA will offer three all-day online tax filing clinics at the same location on January 29, 30 and 31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The clinics do not require registration and will be available in English, Spanish, and Armenian.

Visit the CDTFA online to find more taxpayer events and education resources.
