Volunteers Needed for the 2018 Homeless Count in Glendale

The City of Glendale will be conducting the 2018 Homeless Count on January 23 & 24, 2018. Volunteers are needed to support with street outreach efforts for conducting the count.

Why count?

Collecting reliable data on the number, characteristics, and service needs of individuals, families, and unaccompanied children experiencing homelessness is a critical component of local homeless planning. Accurate, timely data on our homeless population and where they live is a critical tool to help secure and direct resources where they are most needed.

A mandatory volunteer orientation is scheduled for January 8, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. in the Perkins Building, Room 118 (Perkins Community Room).

Click here to register online to volunteer, or for more information regarding the count, please contact Ivet Samvelyan at (818) 548-3720 or at Isamvelyan@glendaleca.gov.
