The ace/121 gallery will feature Neighbors until June 1, 2018. The new exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, May 11 from 7 to 10 p.m. Curated by ace/121 resident Valerie Shultz, Creative Director of Concise Focus, the exhibition features artwork made by ace/121 residents.
Neighbors explores the singular creative process of an artist and the impact art can have on a community. It encourages the viewer to “love thy neighbor” and to reflect on their relationship with the community. The exhibit’s central focus is a genuine interest in the people living next door.
The exhibition is an expression of the ace/121 community – a demonstration of the advantages of providing affordable housing to artists working in Los Angeles. This unique development is a collaboration of the City of Glendale, Meta Housing, and WSH Management.
ace/121 gallery is located at 121 N. Kenwood St., Glendale, CA 91206.
