The California High-Speed Rail Authority is conducting a series of Open House Meetings for the Burbank to Los Angeles Project Section. The section is part of the first phase of building the nation’s first high-speed rail system and runs approximately 14 miles connecting Burbank (airport area) and Los Angeles Union Station. At the meetings, learn about the staff-recommended State’s Preferred Alternative to be carried forward in the Draft Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (Draft EIR/EIS). Information on new and existing grade separations (at railroad/street crossings), and other proposed project features, such as communication towers and local safety improvements will also be presented.
If you are interested in learning more about the California High Speed Rail project, especially the section between Burbank and Downtown Los Angeles, then join one of the open house meetings happening in Burbank, Glendale, and Downtown Los Angeles these next few days. All meetings will be identical and you can choose the one that best fits your schedule.
