Calling All Performers: Brand Library Plaza Series

Calling all performance groups and artists! The Glendale Arts and Culture Commission wants you to be a part of their Brand Library Plaza Series. They plan to hold a variety of performance experiences every Friday at 7:00 p.m. from June through August at the Brand Library & Art Center Outdoor Plaza.

This Plaza will comfortably seat an audience of 75 under Glendale’s warm, starry, summer night sky. All are welcome to apply, whether you are a newly emerging or established solo artist or performance group. The Arts & Culture Commission will fund up to $1000 per artist or performance group. Those selected to preform will be notified of available dates.

This is the fifth year the City of Glendale is holding this Series, which provides a free cultural experience for residents and attracts visitors to experience the arts and cultural opportunities in the city. This program has been designed to support arts organizations and to bring distinguished cultural programming to Glendale. The Performance Series is supported by the City of Glendale and the Glendale Arts & Culture Commission, with funding from the Urban Art Program and the Brand Associates.

So get the band back together and warm up your vocal chords because applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018. Electronic submissions are preferred, including recent performance videos or sound files. Click here to download the application.
