Face Covering Poster Contest for K-12!




The City of Glendale, along with community partners, is excited to launch a Face Covering Poster Contest for students in grades K-12! This contest will give students the opportunity to participate in a community project aimed at educating the public about the importance of wearing a face covering to help stop the spread of COVID-19. 


Submissions and winners will be categorized by the following grade groups:

  • K through 5th

  • 6th through 8th

  • 9th through 12th

There will be a total of three winners, one from each grade category. Winners will receive a $50 Visa gift card, and their posters will be available online for everyone to download! We will also share the selected posters on social media.


Guidelines:

  • One entry per person, grades K-12

  • The poster must have a positive and encouraging message, urging Glendale residents to wear a face covering

  • Size is no more than 12” wide X 18” vertical

  • The poster must include original artwork. No professional or copyrighted materials or images

  • Open to all Public, Private, and Homeschooled students in grade categories K-5, 6 – 8, and 9 - 12

  • All posters must be submitted with the form below attached. Submissions must be emailed to myglendale@glendaleca.gov or dropped off at Glendale City Hall, located at 613 E Broadway by Monday, August 17, 2020 at 5:30pm.
