The City of Glendale Housing Division will host the second of two informational community meetings about the Rental Right Program on Saturday, April 20 at Cerritos Elementary School. The school is located at 120 E. Cerritos Ave., Glendale, CA 91205. The hour-and-a-half meeting starts at 10 a.m.
On February 12, 2019, the Glendale City Council adopted Ordinance #5922 which expands the existing Just Cause Eviction ordinance by adding two new components. The expanded ordinance created a new program that now consists of Right to Lease, Just Cause Eviction, and Relocation.
Information and resources to help landlords and tenants navigate this new program are available at the City's website.
City officials encourage Glendale residents and landlords to complete a survey offering feedback about the new program. The survey is available here. Survey respondents will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
