Civic Engagement Opportunities Abound in Glendale

The next few weeks will provide Glendale residents with several opportunities to voice their thoughts and ideas on the future of their City!

Grayson Repowering

The Glendale City Council discussion about Grayson Repowering has been rescheduled for the February 6 council agenda. The new date allows for all five members of the City Council to be present.

The discussion is part of the regularly scheduled city council meeting, which is held in Glendale City Hall Council Chambers on the second floor of 613 E. Broadway at 6 p.m.

Central Park Campus Design

All interested parties are welcome to attend a community meeting today, January 18, to discuss the design of the Central Park Campus. This evening’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the Adult Recreation Center (ARC) at 201 E. Colorado St.

Another community meeting will be held on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m. at the Glendale Central Library on the second floor. Refreshments and childcare will be provided at both meetings. Free 3-hour parking will also be available at The Marketplace Parking Garage with validation. Translation services will be provided. Learn more here.

Accessory Dwelling Units

The Council discussion about the establishment of development standards for accessory dwelling units in Glendale will be continued at the Tuesday, January 30 Glendale City Council meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. at Glendale City Hall Council Chambers.

Glendale Public Art

Join us for an exciting conversation about common themes and recommendations that will be included in the Glendale Public Art Master Plan on a new date, Thursday, February 1 at 7 p.m. at the Central Library!

The City’s consultant team of Community Arts Resources (CARS) and Barbara Goldstein will share next steps for the City of Glendale to develop a successful public art program in our community.
