Metrolink will be conducting railroad maintenance Work along their Antelope Valley Line, Ventura County Line, San Bernardino Line, Orange County Line and Perris Valley Line from Tuesday, September 8th at 9:00 p.m. until Friday, September 25th at 6:00 p.m.
To ensure safety and reliability, Metrolink crews will be inspecting and making improvements on the Metrolink railroad tracks throughout our system from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. daily.
The repairs could result in:
Noise and lights from heavy equipment
Backup alarms
The work schedule is as follows:
Antelope Valley Line - between Cypress Park and Lancaster Tuesday, September 8 until Friday, September 11
Ventura County Line - between Burbank and East Ventura Friday, September 11 until Tuesday, September 15
All Lines (Los Angeles area) - between Cypress Park and Cal State Los Angeles Tuesday, September 15 until Friday, September 18
San Bernardino Line - between Los Angeles Union Station and San Bernardino Transit Center Tuesday, September 18 until Tuesday, September 22
Orange County Line - between Anaheim Canyon and San Clemente Tuesday, September 22 until Thursday, September 24
91/Perris Valley Line - between Riverside-Hunter Park/UCR to Perris South Metrolink stations Thursday, September 24 until Friday, September 25
In some areas, the work area goes through a designated Quiet Zone. According to Federal Railroad Administration safety regulations, trains may blow their horns due to work crew on or near the tracks.
