The Montrose/Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce (MVCC) is kicking off the fall season with Oktoberfest on October 6! As one of the oldest Oktoberfest events for the past 41 years, the MVCC will entertain an expectant crowd of 25,000 attendees!
“If you want to catch the official opening ceremonies, come out at noon on the 6th of October. The Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce will have the official Oktoberfest welcome,” George Pondella-2018 MVCC Board President stated. “Although a number of blocks will host the event in the Montrose area of Glendale, this year our Bavarian Entertainment & Kick-off will be located on Wickham Way.”
So don’t feel bad you couldn’t make it to Germany for this year’s Oktoberfest, because you can find everything you’ll need to celebrate in Montrose. Get your family and friends together and join the festivities with a multitude of activities! Expect everything from delicious pretzels, bratwurst and churros to exhilarating carnival rides, contests, and more!
